Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, clearing from the north later in the afternoon.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment at first, becoming partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers clearing from the east in the evening.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cool in the north-west, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and hot in the north-west with fog patches along the west-coast where it will be cool, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and warm over the eastern parts in the morning, as well over the western parts of the southcoast in the evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light easterly to north-easterly in the south in the morning and late evening, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, reaching strong north of Cape Columbine from the afternoon.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cloudy in the morning, otherwise fine and warm, but hot in places over the interior.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming easterly late morning, but fresh to strong south easterly in the afternoon.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Warm to hot in the north-west, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in places.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming easterly late morning, but fresh to strong north easterly in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over western interior, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly, becoming north-easterly from the south in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
