Well, well, well. Piers Morgan may like to come across as a self-appointed ‘snowflake slayer’, but the moody TV host has only humiliated himself even further this week – and yes, it’s to do with his Meghan obsession. The 55-year-old walked away from an on-air debate that had him banged to rights, and his hissy fit went viral on Tuesday.

Piers Morgan taken to the cleaners – again

Alex Beresford, another TV presenter appearing on Good Morning Britain, called it as he saw it earlier today. He calmly explained that Meghan ‘has said nothing about Piers Morgan’ since their relationship soured a few years ago.

That seemed to tip the veteran anchor – or as some would say, a word that sounds like ‘anchor’ – over the edge. After stewing over Beresford’s forensic summary of the situation, Morgan got up from his chair, saying he ‘could not do this anymore’. He then proceeded to leave the set, prompting his latest debate rival to brand the behaviour as ‘diabolical’.

Charities condemn TV host’s behaviour

On Monday, Piers Morgan was silenced by Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, after she questioned the broadcaster’s priorities. Morgan is a vociferous critic of Harry and Meghan, but has failed to hold rape-accused Prince Andrew to a similar standard. The journalist also questioned the Duchess’ claims that she recently felt suicidal – prompting a huge backlash.

Mind Charity – one of the UK’s biggest mental health networks – condemned the utterances made by Morgan. The ITV network has also been accused of hypocrisy, as the host’s comments fly in the face of their own supposed values.
