Zuma’s trial set for May 17th
The stage has now been set in the arms deal case against former president Jacob Zuma. This is with weapons manufacturer Thales. The trial is expected to officially kick off on 17 May 2021.
The proceedings got underway in the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on February 23, 2021. The legal parties finalized all pre-trial matters in prep for the day of trial.
